Local Man Sentenced for Involvement in U.S. Capitol Breach

In a recent court hearing, Allan Jennings, a 57-year-old resident of Hillsboro, was sentenced after pleading guilty to charges related to the January 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol. The sentencing was delivered by U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton.

• 12 months in prison

• 36 months of supervised release

• $3,825 in restitution and fines

• Felony charge of civil disorder

• Misdemeanor charge of destruction of government property
