TBI Warns about Sextortion

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) is warning people to be aware of the signs of sextortion.

Sextortion is the practice of extorting money or sexual favors from someone by threatening to reveal evidence of their sexual activity, TBI says.

If you fall victim to sextortion, follow these tips listed in the graphic below.

It is extremely important that you don't continue the conversation or pay any money to the scammer.
