The Franklin County Rebels put up a valiant effort Tuesday night but ultimately fell to Marshall County, 78-57. Despite a strong third-quarter surge, the Rebels couldn't keep pace with the high-powered Marshall County offense.
After trailing at halftime, Franklin County came out firing in the third quarter, outscoring Marshall County 22-12 in an attempt to claw back into the game. However, Marshall County responded with a dominant fourth quarter, pulling away to secure the win.
Jayden Cisco led the Rebels in scoring with 19 points, followed closely by Brandon Walker with 18. Brayden Arnold added 8, Tyson Kennerly contributed 7, Brody Goff finished with 5, and Memphis Foster chipped in 3. The Next game for the Rebels is TBD. The District Tournament will be held next week in Central Magnet.
