UPSET ALERT! Franklin County Stuns Rival Tullahoma in Nail-Biting Finish, Ties for First in District

TULLAHOMA – In a game where the lead changed hands multiple times and neither team led by more than nine points, the Franklin County Rebelettes made clutch plays down the stretch and capitalized on bonus free throws to upset rival Tullahoma 48-45, securing a share of first place in the district standings.

Franklin County came out firing, jumping to an 18-9 lead after the first quarter, but Tullahoma responded with a dominant second quarter, outscoring the Rebelettes 16-6 to take a 25-24 lead into halftime. From there, it was a battle of momentum swings, with neither team backing down.

Heading into the fourth quarter, Tullahoma clung to a 35-34 advantage, but Franklin County stepped up in the clutch. Key defensive stops and composed free-throw shooting in the closing minutes allowed the Rebelettes to regain control and secure the dramatic three-point victory.
